Brunello Cucielli – SS17

Brunello Cucielli – SS17
A very sophisticated and well put together collection. Beautiful soft tailored suits, sports lux, utility and also a stunning wine coloured biker jacket. I love the double jacket styling, the sweatshirts and jackets wrapped around your waist. The colouring is the real stand out factor in this collection beautiful earthy tones, stones, brown and khaki and then that deep wine colour, my absolute favourite Navy and the grey which is the tread that holds the outfits together. This collection is simply one of the most beautifully worked collections this season.

Belstaff – SS17

Belstaff – SS17
Sports lux trend continues within many collections although the sport this collection is based on just happens to be motorcross- I love the retro feel that runs through the outfits as a huge fan of Evel Knievel myself the leather jackets really appeal to me. The leather is shown to be really versatile when used in a wonderful colour blocked lace up top a real stand out garment. Beautiful work and a real manly collection.

Coach – SS17

Coach – SS17
The simplest of colour pallets, wonderfully deep in colour, vibrant Red, deepest Wine, rich Khaki, Cream and Black. Leather throughout and a multitude of jackets and coats which would sit well in wardrobe built on Rock’n’Roll and glamour. The zip detail is well used to great effect and I personally love the use of badges as it’s an accessory I use in my own outfits. Simple touches like the wider width ribs on hems and cuffs have been well thought out. The bags are big, leather and highly desirable. This is a complete and beautiful collection.

Alexander McQueen – SS17

Alexander McQueen – SS17
Wonderfully tailored collection – lots of amazing suits, trimmed with gold embroidery – the luxe sports influence shown with the same trim being used down the side of the trousers. An again thread runs through this collection and one of my favourite pieces is the frill front grandad shirt that’s shown throughout which is so versatile in its styling. You just can deny the beauty in these outfits.

Richard James – SS17

Richard James – SS17
Wonderful tailoring as to be expected from Richard James – great styling with patch pockets, large collars and lots of turn ups. What really stands out in this collection though is the colours. The pastel shades are beautiful and work really well together, reminds me of the buildings of south beach in Miami. Men should embrace the pastels and I don’t just mean pink…

Pieter – SS17

Pieter – SS17

Very glamorous sportswear inspired collection. Love the silver PU used throughout. The way the bottoms of this collection sit with a ultra low waist won’t be to everyone’s taste what I do love is the crop length of the tops especially the hoodie with the drawstring detail on the hem and the sleeves. Wonderful collection.
