Matthew Miller – A/W17

A wonderful jacket, I love those zips with the oversize leather pullers and exposed tape, really nice detail. Note the cuff and hem of the jacket and the way the elastic is channelled into the hem and not overlocked on as a separate piece. It’s all about texture. The roll neck jumper in that brick red compliments the grey of the jacket beautifully. You can’t see much of the tops that are layered underneath, you can only see the different lengths. I love scarfs and this one is gorgeous, I can’t resist that digital print.

Autumn and Winter is all about layering and this outfit is done so well. I really love that short sleeve sweatshirt, the oversized length yet the fit is snug and close to the body. The roll neck jumper with those skinny arms is lovely and works so well. The cut of those skinny trousers adds to the clearness of this outfit.

A wonderful criss cross texture on the hoodie. The detail we are starting to see in a few collections this season is that thicker ribbon used as the ties in the hood, extra long to really exaggerate the detail. The jumper underneath sits longer then the top to add to the layers. Simple slim trousers to compliment the whole look.

What an incredible jacquard overcoat, simply beautiful almost looks like a print. Again that brick red roll neck adds that pop of colour that just lifts the outfit to the. Extra level. Simple slim trousers as before.

The textured overcoats keep on coming and another great example in this outfit. Before we talk about the coat let’s just mention the sweatshirt roll neck combination, we saw it earlier in the show but it’s such a great look adding the overcoat completes a great outfit. The overcoat itself, 3 button single breasted and the cut is snug, it fits close to the body and adds great structure.

A stunning leather biker jacket finished with wool lining. The zips have got those extra long leather pullers which are a lovely detail. What really works well is the layering in this outfit. I like that the leather jacket is worn over an overcoat, the difference in lengths give an interesting look. Then you have a longline sweatshirt which again adds to visual aesthetics of this outfit. Beautiful.

Matthew Miller A/W17 – A wonderful collection, incredibly limited in its colour pallet but that it’s a negative by any means. The colour that has been added to the black and grey compliments the outfits so well. I love that brick red which adds another layer of sophistication. Well thought out combinations of layers, visually interesting with the lengths of jackets, overcoats and sweatshirts. This collection is a complete wardrobe for a man of taste, sophistication and simplicity. Stunning.

Miharayasuhiro – A/W 17

Fantastic leather jacket loving that wool lining very cool. The hood is really cool and that zip with the extra large puller. Note the kangaroo type pockets on the front. Really interesting trousers with the crop length and turn ups.

Scale plays an key part in this outfit, loving the large details to,this overcoat. The collars are big, the pockets are big, the sleeves are wide and then that belt with the silver bucket just fantastic. The wide trousers just seem to work really well for the overall look.

A very cool distressed knitted jumper, I like the tight knit, it works really well. A great wool overcoat, single button, lovely detail with it being collarless. It’s a shame we can’t see more of the crop trouser as there is just a hint of detail showing.

Wonderfully tailored suit, two button single blazer. The distressed sleeve hem is a fantastic detail. The trousers have a lovely drape to it, extra large bucket on the trousers. The ribbon that ties the blazer is interesting, it’s a nice way of holding the shape of the blazer without fastening the buttons.

A lovely reworking of the puffer jacket. The top stitch that makes the quilting effect is missing, giving a smooth finish. The zip is finished asymmetric and again a fantastic zip with an extra large puller. The trousers are Velvet, cut slim with a seam stitched into the front.

Another great suit, the fabric is a pinstripe with a twist. The space between each stripe is wide and the brown is complimented well with the navy stripe. The ribbon as detail as the suit before. The jumper underneath has that keyhole to the neck rib which we are seeing more of with the distressed look. The real winner is that scarf with the rib cuff detail made to look like sleeves, I love it.

A fantastic utility jacket in Suede, the colour is gorgeous in that Khaki. The patch pockets have what looks like weighted flaps. It’s that waistline tie with the extra large ribbon that really sets it off, the same ribbon used for the hood. The leather trousers are cut wide and have that Sportsluxe stripe running down the sides.

Let’s start with that knitted jumper, the knit itself has a stripe with adds great texture. The keyhole on the side of the jumper is interesting. The orange colour is beautiful and it works really well with the rust. The jacket is lovely, I love those collars, great patch pockets with those inverted box pleats, lovely buttons and that amazing oversized belt to the hem. The trousers are wide but the fabric give it great structure.

Texture plays a huge part of fashion, I love this dressing gown overcoat very cool. A gorgeous roll neck textured jumper. The jersey track bottoms are fantastic, the rib cuff is extra large which works so well with this relaxed look.

Miharayasuhiro A/W 17 – A really interesting collection full wonderful ideas and detail. Scale plays a great part in this collection. The buckles, zips and pullers are all extra large. The overcoats have large lapels and wider sleeves. The large jackets and overcoats are contrasted by the crop trousers, the whole look is lovely. The suits have a great cut, I like the distressed sleeve hem and the wide trousers. All in all a lovely collection and well worth a good look.

Katie Eary – A/W 17

A fantastic outfit, love that amazing 70’s print on the shirt. Lovely white piping on the edge of the shawl collar. The trousers have a lovely waffle texture to them, wonderfully cut slim. The jacket is the real hero, again the texture is fantastic, collarless which helps to style the shirt, last but not least that slate grey colour. The contrast works amazingly well.

What a stunning leather jacket. The wool lining is fantastic, I love the detail of the seams showing on the outside of the jacket, beautiful brown colouring. Oversized orange printed shirt underneath and stylish slim black trousers.

The shawl collar, a great detail used throughout this collection. Another gorgeous 70’s inspired print. I really like the piping on the edge of the shirt jacket, fantastic. Simple slim black trousers.

A really interesting crop jumper with a choker style neck. The tight rib knit gives great structure and holds the crop shape well. The wide boat neck would have been enough but the choker neck which has been so popular in womenswear over the last few years has transitioned into menswear. You can’t really see the shirt that well the colours used are no doubt awesome. The trousers incorporate a printed and elasticated waistband. Very cool.

A really lovely raglan sleeve T-shirt. This season we are really seeing more use of the raglan sleeve. The sleeve itself has a great shape and drape to it, I love it. Note the crop length. Oh and we can’t miss our the chameleon print, the orange compliments the purple so well.

Another great crop knitted jumper. Beautiful graduated colouring. The keyhole neckline is interesting. Again you can’t really see the detail to that shirt which is a real shame. Simple slim black trousers.

Katie Eary A/W 17 – A wonderful collection, 70’s inspired prints which are just gorgeous. I love the orange colouring which permeates this collection. The most wonderful contrast is the slate grey although the purple is another star. The whole collection has a great use of texture. The wool lining on the sleek leather, the tight rib knit, the smooth silk which holds the vibrant prints so well. I’m a real fan of wearing colour and this collection shows you how to wear colour without fear, just gorgeous.

Joseph – A/W 17

Fantastic mohair overcoat. I really like that three button detail. That full length makes a real statement. The grandad collar shirt underneath has great detail with a double button fastening, it looks very sharpe in white. Beautifully tailored grey check trousers completes the look. Effortlessly sophisticated.

An interesting roll neck jumper. The red detailing is lovely, there is just the right amount of teasing. The little splash around the neck, it’s the inverted seams that I really like. Note that this jumper is more of a dolman sleeve, that shoulder seam is very low.

Very eclectic styling. Let’s start off with that blazer, a wonderful light base check. I love that stripe grandad collar shirt with the double button fastening. I love that amazing grey V neck jumper, it’s another one for my own wardrobe. The trouser are leather in a fantastic blue/grey.

Oh I love this Fair Isle tank top, the colour are amazing the navy blue contrasted with that golden yellow. The stripe grandad collar shirt is as before. The trouser are in the same light base check as the blazer before.

A hint of Sportsluxe with those double stripe trousers which are lovely. Especially that stay in crease on the front. You can’t see much of the stripe shirt. Another amazing statement overcoat, fantastic oversize shape especially love those sleeves.

More of the Sportsluxe look, really great combination with those double stripe trousers. An amazing Fair Isle jumper, great combination of colours. It’s that sleeveless leather jacket that’s the real hero. The wool lining is gorgeous and those buttons with the loop fastening is fantastic.

This is my favourite outfit, those check trouser are fantastic. I love the grey, the cobalt blue and red. The grey Fair Isle jumper, the deep V neck is a great detail. Love the grandad collar shirt, stark contrast in optic white. Another great wool oversized overcoat, double breasted, love those big collars.

More Sportsluxe with those trousers. Love those narrow legs and the rib cuffs, the big patch pockets to the front. I love that grey knitted rib jumper and it works so well with the knit cardigan. These are the sort of colours that are classic and I live in everyday. Very cool.

Soft tailoring at its very finest. A gorgeous oatmeal blazer, textured with a herringbone design. I love the top stitch detail around the lapels and pockets. Oversized grey V neck knitted jumper, love those ribs hanging out of the sleeves a great styling detail. Soft tailored Sportsluxe trousers as before. A beautiful outfit.

Joseph A/W 17 – A simple yet beautiful collection. Wonderful soft tailoring, real statement overcoats and the most wonderful knitwear. I love the contrasts of checks mixed with Fair Isle knits, simple ribs and a touch of Sportsluxe. The styling is fantastic with the oversized shapes, rib cuffs protruding from sleeves, in fact all the sleeves are just that little bit long and cover your hands. Oversized is the look without making you feel like Tom Hanks at the end of ‘Big’. I’ve already started looking for my Vintage Wolsey Fair Isle jumpers from the back of my wardrobe. Inspiration.

Belstaff – A/W 17

A fantastic leather pilots jacket, finished with wool lining. The leather finish is beautifully aged. Simple raw denim jeans, love the turn ups but what really sets off the outfit is that tan belt. Love it.

Is that time? The return of the stone colour jeans? Well it seems so, the cut is straight, the hem turned up the belt a real feature. Classic cotton shirt in the same stone colour as the jeans. The leather jacket another beauty, again fur lined. Such a classic look.

Such a beautiful long line naval Peacoat. Just look at the buttons, the side belts to the sleeves, those big patch pockets. Stone jeans as before and to finish the classic stripe naval jumper. I love this look.

Another classic Peacoat but this one shorter and the buttons more workmanlike. The jeans are leather and cut tight around the legs. The jumper a beautiful cable knit, but it’s the large scale of the knit that really impresses.

Some call it wine and some call it burgundy, we could say Ox blood as well. No matter what you choose you can’t argue that this colour isn’t beautiful. A collarless biker jacket and I love the detail of the extra padding to the shoulders. Lovely roll neck knit, grey raw denim jeans and again I love love love that tan belt. Gorgeous.

A fantastic waxed jacket, again in the gorgeous wine colour. The look is very workwear, loads of pockets and I like that belt to the waist. The press studs with the extra large head is a lovely detail. Leather trousers as before.

Another wax jacket, lovely styling. I like big patch pockets and the pocket on the chest with the vertical pocket flap. Built up collars to keep you warm when the wind is blowing. The jacket underneath looks like its denim. The styling is more Harrington then western which is a great idea. I’ve always liked the double jacket look.

Belstaff A/W 17 – Another classic Belstaff collection. The jackets as always are beautiful and very well crafted. Classically cut and executed, every detail is well thought out and designed. The return of the stone coloured jeans, could they really infiltrate my wardrobe? Well maybe… that amazing Naval Peacoat could certainly have a place. The one item I really fell for is that beautiful tan belt, works so well with raw denim. A wonderful collection, full of the very best styling.

Coach 1941 – A/W 17

A wonderful reworking of the satin baseball jacket, love that bronze colour and the striped ribs. The texture is contrasted with that fun fur waistcoat. The checked trouser have an amazing structured cut to them, the check itself with those colours is gorgeous. Simple sweatshirt underneath with a large space shuttle appliqué.

Another amazing satin baseball jacket, beautiful rich purple, black and that bright yellow. More appliqué badges, classic ‘HARLEM’ Americana styling. The pocket detail is very cool, with that stitching showing the outline and then those pockets with the piping edge. Lovely structured check trousers as before and again a simple sweatshirt with a motif.

Now this is a stunning jacket which I would love in my own wardrobe. Let’s start with that ocean blue colour Suede, so deep and rich. The crop length, the detail of the big ribs, the leather bands on the shoulders, the big buttons and then the press studs at the end, classic flap pockets on the chest and last but not least covered in badges. Some people say less is more but not with a jacket like this. Wonderful red and brown check trousers, I love this combination.

Another great jacket, classic leather biker with a fur collar. I love that tan colour. Again it’s the detail to the design that I love the pocket flaps with the studs. Another amazing check, black, green and a hint of orange. The contrast of that blue jumper is lovely… and who can say no to ice cream.

Such a gorgeous leather jacket. I love that deep wine colour, press stud fastening. The leather has been given a buff finish to make it shine. The checked trousers matches perfectly with the jacket, that bright purple jumper adds that pop of colour.

A fantastic reworking of the satin baseball jacket. Press stud fastening and note the drawstring channeled on the hem, a lovely detail. Ice-cream, space and stars badges, appliqués and embroidery it’s all put together on this jacket. The zipped sweatshirt underneath is made of a beautiful textured terry cloth fabric in a lovely blush pink. The extra large zip is a nice touch. The check trousers as before and we get a chance to really see the panel running down the side and the flash of red at the bottom hem.

A wonderful leather overcoat, fur collars. I like the short zip to the inner front panels a lovely detail. A classic tracksuit top, that mustard yellow and the burgundy piping is fantastic. The mustard continues with a simple sweatshirt underneath the tracksuit top. The check as always matched in its colouring.

Another stunning outfit. Furry terry clothe classic baseball jacket. I like the rib detail especially the rib at the sleeve crown lovely detail. The space themed badges are very cool. The sweatshirt I love, the white is a lovely contrast, fantastic NASA badge, love it. I’ve yet to mention the paisley tees shirts, they are fantastic and a great way to add layering any outfit.

A good change up to the outfits. An amazing check double breasted overcoat. The jacket is beautifully tailored, lovely sharpe lines. You can just make out a furry terry cloth waistcoat underneath. The knitted check jacket has lovely colouring, the grey base and the black, brown and yellow works so well. That amazing mustard yellow continues to those trousers.

You have leather, you have Suede you can’t forget denim. Another great jacket, I love the crop length, the fur trim the big pockets with the top stitch detail, really cool star embroidery detail. Classic tracksuit top as before, lovely deep red, piping in navy blue. Paisley print tee underneath and as always matching checking trouser, but this one cut with a slight flare to the hem.

Another supercool leather jacket and I am loving the crop length. Classic biker style, lovely zip detail and the epaulettes are a nice touch. Gorgeous deep v neck jumper, nice rib detail around the neck accented with the yellow around the edge. Paisley tee and check trousers as before.

A mishmash of a overcoat/jacket. Cut like a parka but styled like a baseball jacket. Satin and wool mix with a fur collar. Lovely cream stripe on the sleeve ribs and the piping around the pocket also in cream adds to the whole look. Bright red jumper with ice cream motif, Paisley tee and check trousers.

A simple reworking of the collarless biker jacket. I like the Royal blue leather front panels, the sleeve in satin and cut raglan finished with a ribbed cuff. Lovely zip detail. The grey sweat underneath works well with the colours and as always the Paisley tee and check trousers.

Coach 1941 A/W 17 – I really love this collection, wonderfully retro yet effortlessly wearable for right now. The jackets are the Heroes, the Leather, The Suede, a hint of Denim a liberal touch of Satin, accented with bright colours, fur, badges, appliqués embroidery and zips. For me the crop length on some of the jackets really work well. The attention to detail is lovely, the Paisley tees could instantly be missed but are integral to the overall look and layering to this collection. The check trousers are beautifully tailored and have a fantastic structure to them. Classic Americana styling done so so well. A stunning collection with some great ideas to add to your Autumn and Winter look for 2017.

Casely-Hayford A/W 17

The humble grandad collar shirt. Great detail with oversized contrast button and the button stand. I love that grey coat that’s underneath. The parka has a fantastic print, the pockets and the Velcro fastenings are all great design details. What works well are the different coat lengths, a great feature as the usual way to wear a double coat is the shorter coat underneath and the longer coat on top, this is a lovely way of mixing it up a little.

The grandad collar continues. A really lovely checked four button double breasted blazer. The contrast with the chalk stripe trousers is interesting and adds another level to this outfit. The cropped knitted jumper is a beautiful shade of teal green, but you can’t really see the rib work that’s incorporated into the design which is a shame.

I really love those trousers, the drape, the fullness around the ankles, sharpe pleats and the texture to the fabric just beautiful. Simple stripe jumper, the extended neck rib adds another layer to this whole look. A wonderful single breasted overcoat, simple and beautiful.

This is a fantastic reworking of the tracksuit top. I love the detail of the high rib neck turning into a roll neck, it looks amazing. Great zip detail to give it that finish. The trousers have a fantastic print to them and it all works really well with that beautiful grey overcoat.

The crop length is used throughout this show. Beautiful crop grandad collar shirt. I’m not sure if the waistcoat is apart of the shirt or if it’s a separate garment but what I do know is that it’s the same fabric as the shirt, the shoulders are extended to give structure to the look. The trouser are the same chalk stripe trousers as before.

Such a beautiful grey double breasted overcoat. I really love that functional lapels and the way it’s pulled over the neckline. The trousers have a great look to them, I like the distressed treads but incorporated into a polka dot pattern.

A wonderfully tailored single breasted suit. The big rib roll neck tracksuit top as before. Lovely double zip detail, I like the styling with the bottom zip open.

A beautiful double breasted blazer, I love that grey fabric. A gorgeous colour blocked waistcoat underneath. Beautiful leather bands and pocket flaps. The trousers are as before with that wonderful ethnic print.

A beautiful collection, quintessentially British. Wonderful overcoats, I really like the parka with the print worn on top of a longer overcoat, lovely styling. The knits have unusual asymmetric necklines, the colours are fantastic especially the teal. Prints are subtle and have a depth and texture. The tailoring is soft and full of detail, great pleats and extended waistbands. The fabric in checks and one of my favourites the chalk stripes work so well. The sportsluxe crossover doesn’t seem to be losing momentum, the tracksuit top with the double zip detail and that amazing extra large rib collar is contrasted with a wonderfully tailored single breasted suit.

Haider Ackermann – SS17

A very interesting collarless shirt. Losing the collars the front panels have been built up around the neck, the buttons hidden away underneath giving a wonderful clean finish. Colour blocking has been used to great effect especially the black panel around the neck giving the illusion of a lost bow tie. Beautiful flowing fabric that gives a wonderful drape. Super skinny jeans which I really love.

The jumpsuit but like no other, a real emphasis on the word suit. A true all in one. The shirt panel wonderfully formal, the cut is sharpe. Note the sleeves are pulled up and cuffs turned out. The bottoms are wide and cropped in length, the interest comes from the burnt effect print down the left hand leg. The waistband with that print just breaks up the white bottoms and the blue shirt.

This is a fantastic one button single breasted blazer. Lovely detail with the shawl collars, the button is covered in self fabric and the cut of the blazer is very narrow around the waist. Beautiful turquoise colour, wonderfully matched with the purple of the grandad collar shirt. Note the oversize fly front to hide those buttons.

I love this outfit, it’s very cool. A beautiful collarless overcoat, styled with the sleeves turned up. The oversized shirt with those notched lapels is fantastic, I love that print and the sky blue colour. The aqua colour of the skinny jeans actually works really well with the sky blue shirt and you wouldn’t of put those colours together normally. You have to admit it’s those lace up boots that add that edge to this out. Outstanding.

I love floral patterned shirts, this one would look amazing in my wardrobe. The yellow base and the black floral is really cool. The sports luxe continues with those awesome trousers with the stripes down the sides. Lovely pleat detail and the fullness in the thigh, crop on length and turned up.

The bomber jacket, tone on tone, only real men can wear pink. I love the stitch detail on the jacket it’s very subtle and could be easily missed. Again those amazing super skinny jeans. Oh I missed out the yellow rib on the bomber, beautiful. Finish off with great boots and the outfit is complete.

Metallics are very much a staple in womenswear, menswear is starting to look to these shiny fabrics now even H&M have a silver shinny t-shirt in right now. The red is a fantastic colour. The jacket is very coolie styled tied around the waist. The oversize shirt works well, fantastic print, love those stripes. I like the cut, the drop shoulders, long sleeves and then those big cuffs. Love it.

A fantastic metallic bomber again I like the stitch work and the contrast black rib. Classic hoodie styling, lovely jade colouring. Metallic stripe skinny trousers, super skinny and crop in length.

The oversize styling continues, a gorgeous stripe knitted cardigan. Really cool drop shoulders, long sleeves and big rib cuffs. Those khaki bottoms are fantastic, I love the cut, those narrow legs, the rib finish on the hem, drawstring to the waist. The khaki looks fantastic with those black and white stripes.

A wonderful single breasted cropped blazer, beautiful orange colour and then that amazing silver line flowers. Shawl lapels and then those open button sleeves, very cool. Interesting bleaching effect to those black jeans and also note the seam at the knee giving just that little bit of shaping to the bottoms.

A lovely sleeveless leather jacket, love the zip detail and the padding on the shoulders. Again classic styling with the hoodie, oversized. That gorgeous yellow base print as before and those lovely stripes down the sides of the legs. I love the casualness of the turn ups.

Texture is just as important as colour and people forget about that. Amazing super skinny bottoms with that very subtle stripe, really love these. Interesting detail with the double belt. Then wonderful yellow printed shirt worn underneath a classic printed bomber. This is a gorgeous outfit.

Haider Ackermann SS17 – This is a truly beautiful collection. Full of vibrantly, bold colours and prints. The shapes are oversized and perfectly balanced with those super skinny bottoms. Wonderful tailoring which cannot be ignored, contrasted with the oversized slouched look of the sports luxe trend coming through this season. To go with the beautiful colours are subtle textures in the fabrics, seams are added to create shape and those are great details. This is an outstanding collection full of glamour, it’s the sort of collection that once worn would fill you with confidence.

Carven – SS17

Colour-blocking used to great effect in this outfit. A beautiful pastel shaded button down collar shirt. Pastel tee underneath. Note the shirt is styled with one side tucked in. The shorts are well tailored and long in length, classic Seesucker stripe but with the pink colouring. I love that texture.

A wonderful knitted jumper, I really like that zip detail to the seam of the raglan sleeve. I love the colours used in the stripes and that gorgeous teal used as a base. The pink Seersucker stripe used as before on the shirt, again note only one side of the shirt hanging out. The trousers have an interesting detail of a stripe panel used on the top left hand side.

A better look at those trousers now. Beautiful deep blue in colour. The stripe panels on the top edge looks fantastic, I like how the panel goes into the front pockets a really lovely detail. The stripes carry on in various forms on the jumper. Keeping the colour palette simple works to great effect.

A cross breed, a real shirt jacket. Such a beautiful lightweight jacket, I love the orange colour and the blue rib with the stripes. The shirt underneath adds to the double collars which actually looks really cool. Again the shirt with one side tucked into the shorts. The shorts themselves have a wonderful texture to them, they have a single pleat to them to help the shape of the wider hem which is finished turned up.

A classic slim line single breasted two button suit. Lovely soft tailoring. Another version of the colour block shirt as before. The yellow and sky blue is a great combination.

Fantastic knitted top with buttonless placket and collars, really beautiful colouring with that deep purple contrasted with the fuchsia. The shorts with that longline length have a wonderful texture with a very subtle line print.

A wonderful printed anorak, note the drawstring to the waist which is a lovely detail. The shirt again styled as before with one side tucked in and the other side out, also has a very subtle print to it. Simple one pleat cropped trouser.

The prints are becoming a little more vivid, a classic sweatshirt with a very artist floral watercolour print. Matched with those lovely Seersucker stripe tailored shorts.

The bomber jacket, we’ve seen this fabric before. Beautiful texture and a subtle print. Note the rib to the neck has been placed so that the line of the centre front is unbroken, a really lovely touch. The Seersucker trousers are black on the front panels and blue on the back panels.

Colour blocking is a great way to add a pop of colour to any garment. I love this jumper and the lime green panel looks fantastic. The double shorts, the first one underneath can’t really be seen except for a little bit of the print and the lime green drawstring. The shorts on top has a great textured and well tailored. There is a matching jacket but it’s worn tied around the body and can’t really be seen.

A really wonderful outfit, the tonal greys and then that gorgeous lime green. Again great use of a subtle print on the coat, look carefully and you can just make out some sort of animal print.

Carven SS17 – a wonderful collection, simple shapes, beautiful tailoring. I love the knitwear, the textures really make the difference. The prints are artist and are subtle, I especially love the the floral print on the sweatshirt. What really stands out in this collection has to be the colours. The black, navy, greys are all good base colours but the pop of colours, the fuchsia, the lime green, the lilac, red and orange all come together in a delightful mix that I adore.

Dirk Bikkembergs – SS17

A lovely version of a biker jacket. Complete white on white to make a big statement. Love the extra large zip detail. The bottom are really cool, fantastic cut and rib cuff at the hem.

Fantastic chunky jumper, love that wide neck. Lovely subtle detail on the side with that appliqué. White tailored shorts, longline in length and then turn up for styling. The huge gold chain is an interesting detail.

Repeat after me, children are not fashion accessories…. children are not fashion accessories…. children are not fashion accessories…. children are not fashion accessories…. but I just love this, having 2 boys of my own we love dressing in the same look. The red trousers have a perfect slim leg cut, the blazer has a strong shape to it, works really well.

The knitted V neck top look really cool, the open knit in the middle in a test angle shape looks interesting. Matching jersey bottoms a cross between tradition trousers with that fly front and track bottoms with the rib cuff. Collarless bomber jacket styled with that lush scarf. Very cool.

Spring / Summer 17 will be about stars, a lot have been shown in the womenswear collections and now a few are crossing over to the menswear collections. I love the graphics on this knit and also the colour block look. The bottoms are as before he styled with the shin pads, a new sports-luxe accessory.

The stars theme continues with this classic leather collarless biker jacket. The cut of the jacket is very slimline, those sleeves could be painted on. Slimline bottoms and again the shin pad styling.

Sportswear fabrics are now a mainstay in the fashion industry. I love the mesh used in this shorts and blazer combo. Note the detail of the slant pockets and also the seams on the shoulders. I like the detail of how the fabric is doubled up on the hem of the shorts. This is a fantastic outfit.

Such a fantastic print on this shirt sleeve shirt and I like the styling of the sleeves turned up. I love that print, the floral and graphic background, gorgeous colours used. The shiny PU shorts are extremely short and have a really nice detail of a mesh panel with a red lining underneath. I love this outfit.

The same print as before, this time used as panels in a bomber jacket. The jacket itself is a raglan sleeve which is a great shape for this sports-luxe collection. The shorts are wide and big, again the mesh fabric has a contrast colour lining underneath. Very cool.

I love this suit, gorgeous soft jersey tailoring. The mesh panels are a great detail. The slimline cut of the trousers are amazing, the suit lapels are long and narrow. Stunning outfit.

A lovely six button double breasted suit. I love the narrow wrap over. The leather patch on the shoulder and sleeve is the kind you would find on a tweed hunting jacket the kind someone would wear to go shooting with.

Layering has always been apart of sports wear styling. This is a classic look with those running tights worn underneath those oversize shorts. Lovely tropical floral print mixed with those graphic stripes. The leather jacket has been mixed with jersey, the panels on the sleeves are a great detail.

If you want a tux that’s going to stand you out from the crowd then this one. This tropical print is lovely, it’s not just the colours that make it look fantastic it’s also the scale of the print. The suit itself has lovely shawl lapels in the contrast black.

Another beautiful print on a fantastic tux, contrast black shawl lapels as before.

And to finish another version of that tux, this time classic black but with that touch of glam with those silver shawl lapels. Always finish an outfit like this with the correct shoes.

Dirk Bikkembergs SS17 – a wonderful collection with some fantastic ideas for the new season. Immersed in the sports luxe theme that’s really taking off for this season. I love the prints in those vivid colours pushed that next step further by the scale used. Little extra touches like the shin pads and the leather shoulder patch on the double breasted suit really finish each outfit. The cut and shape of each garment has been wonderfully thought out, the layering and the use of sports jersey fabrics show a real wit and intelligence to the design. A truly outstanding collection.
